Duru holds a Master of Urban Design degree from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design from Bilkent University in Turkey. With her academic and professional background in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, she brings a holistic, sustainable, and resilient approach to her projects. Duru is interested in representation, post-production techniques, and the implementation of sustainable urban design strategies. She has achieved recognition in national professional competitions in Turkey and has participated in various educational design programs in Italy and the United States. Her areas of focus include master planning, sustainable urban development, and placemaking practices.
