In 2023 Sajecki Planning Inc. was retained by CEFA Early Learning, in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary consultant team, to secure municipal approvals for the conversion of a commercial building to a daycare facility in Markham, Ontario. The development requires a Site Plan Approval application and Minor Variance application.
Situated north of Esna Park Dr and within an existing commercial plaza, the development optimizes use of the underutilized commercial plaza. It also serves as an opportunity to help achieve Markham’s childcare targets, while contributing toward the creation of a complete, vibrant and child-supportive community.
The development incorporates the conversion of an existing commercial building to a daycare facility. As part of this proposal is a conversion of parking spaces to an outdoor play area.
