Tony De Franco is Lead - Development Planning at Sajecki Planning. Tony is a Registered Professional Planner with over 12 years of industry experience. He holds a Master of Science in Planning degree from the University of Toronto.

Tony has extensive experience overseeing and managing complex community planning and development projects for a range of public and private sector clients. His work experience includes municipal planning approvals, community master planning, secondary planning, highest and best use studies, urban design guidelines, and transit-oriented development. Tony has also acted as an expert witness at the Ontario Land Tribunal and has experience presenting at conferences, city councils and at the Committee of Adjustment.

Tony has a deep understanding of the municipal approvals process and the provincial policy context. He has been involved in all stages of the development approvals process, from higher-level master planning, subdivision approvals, official plan amendments and rezonings to detailed site plan approvals, minor variances, and severances. Tony is a respected and trusted advisor to clients, colleagues, peers and industry professionals.
