In 2019 Sajecki Planning Inc. was retained by Edenshaw Developments Ltd. to secure municipal approvals for a 32-storey mixed-use development at 1 Fairview Road East in Mississauga, Ontario. The development required an Official Plan Amendment (OPA), Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA), and Site Plan Approval (SPA).

Located at the northeast corner of Hurontario Street and Fairview Road, the development has excellent access to higher order transit. It is approximately 600 metres (8-minute walk) north of the Cooksville GO Station and close to two Hazel McCallion Light Rail Transit (LRT) stops.

The OPA redesignated the site from “Office” to “Residential High Density”, and the Zoning By-law Amendment rezoned the property from “Office” to “RA5” with site-specific exceptions. The approved development included 418 residential units and approximately 305 square metres of retail space at-grade. The development supports an urban environment along Hurontario Street, expected to accommodate higher densities and a mix of uses for the under-construction LRT.
